The Best San Diego Engagement Location - Del Mar Wedding Photographer

OMG!  Could Abbey and Matt be any cuter.  Abbey reached out to me with a specific image/background in mind.  We spoke on the phone to discuss the different locations and she said, "You are the San Diego wedding photographer, I trust you".  Well thank you for your trust and this location most definitely did not disappoint.  I was leaning towards doing their engagement shoot at Torrey Pines State Natural Preserve but considering crowds and restrictions due to nature conservancy we would of been limited.  

Del Mar is an incredible area for engagement photography and wedding photography.  As a wedding photographer I've captured the love from from the elegant Fairmont Grand Del Mar, to the classic Le Auberge Hotel, Seagrove Park and the picturesque beach weddings of The Del Mar Power Plant.  Beauty abounds!

Matt is a Marine and with any military wedding I am very flexible with scheduling and understanding considering deployments and will do whatever it takes to capture your moments 

We scheduled the shoot for 9am because this was best for the direction of light.   And as with any new couple I spent the 1st couple minutes figuring out how you how they interacted in front of the camera and  from this feedback I can focus on your strengths.   The warm morning light set the tone for this loving couple.  The location ended being a trail down to the water I used to take when I surfed in Del Mar.  These are the hidden gems overlooked by most but best for your shoot because you are not dealing with crowds.
